We offer programs and services throughout the year aimed at supporting our diverse student body and community. We also help connect you with opportunities to express your religious and spiritual needs.

的 Office of Intercultural 学生参与 monitors the climate of UNE’s individual campuses toward traditionally underrepresented populations and works to improve the climate. 校园环境 surveys are done yearly.
Diversity Leadership Badge
的 UNE Diversity Leadership Badge is a co-curricular leadership development program designed to increase students’ awareness about intercultural and social justice issues and provide opportunities for experiential learning with diverse communities. Once you complete the 18+ hour year-long program, you receive a Diversity Leadership Badge that you can include on your UNE co-curricular transcript and resume.

UNE 安全的空间 is a three-hour training program that helps you understand the challenges that many lesbian, 同性恋, 双性恋, 变性人, and queer persons experience. 的 program includes reflective exercises, 讨论, and interactive activities that help to shape a school culture that is accepting of all people, inclusive of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, or any other difference. You emerge from the program better prepared to be a supportive and visible ally, and you receive a door sign to let people know you are a “安全的空间,” where they can be open about themselves without fear of criticism or hatred. Everyone deserves to learn and work in an environment that is supportive and friendly, and 安全的空间 combats the anti-LGBTQ bias that affects school performance and the mental and emotional health of students who experience it.
